Hyaluronic Acid (HA Treatment)

Hyaluronic Acid is an excellent volumiser used for remodelling the cheeks, lips and contours of the face, thus restoring all its energy and vitality.

What is Hyaluronic Acid Fillers?

Hyaluronic acid fillers add volume beneath the skin below the eyes, as well as triggering the production of fresh collagen and elastin. When the HA gel is injected, it acts like an inflated cushion to support facial structures and tissues that may have lost volume or elasticity due to normal aging.

  • Similar to a non-surgical facelift
  • Can be utilised in conjunction with Botox injections or on its own.
  • Suitable for all types of skin
  • No allergies will be triggered as hyaluronic acid is naturally produced by the body.

It Brings Water To The Surface Of Your Skin to Keep It Looking Fresh!

Hyaluronic acid is non-allenrgenic and is fully absorbable. The aesthetic results are immediate and very natural. As the hyaluronic acid is natural, the body will eventually break it down and absorb it, so dermal fillers are not a permanent treatment. Dermal fillers can last between 6 months to a year, varying from Age, Skin Quality and Lifestyle.

Are there any alternatives?

The main alternative is a steroid injection into the joint. Steroid injections have anti-inflammatory rather than lubricating properties, so it makes sense to have a steroid injection if the joint is inflamed. If you have osteoarthritis, hyaluronan injections may last longer than steroid injections, although they tend to be more expensive. Your doctor or rheumatology nurse specialist will discuss other treatment options with you.

Do I need any special checks while on hyaluronic Acid injections?

You shouldn’t need any checks while you have a course of hyaluronan injections.

Can I take other medicines along with hyaluronic Acid injections?

There’s no known reason to avoid other medication while you’re having hyaluronan injections, but you should always check with your doctor.
